When parents ask us, "What are the next steps?", we know the stress and worry you are carrying. You aren't alone. Last night Awake IL held its first statewide chapter chair meeting. From north to south and east to west, we have 17 chapters organized with over 20,000 collected citizens in the Land of Lincoln. We are organized and prepared to be a prudent voice for our communities.
We the Parents are united for our children and the future of this Republic to which we pledge allegiance.
Communities are planning pop-up events at high-traffic corners of towns and are sharing information. Stand together and share the Next Steps with parents. The time is now. The first day of school, we will walk together and be a joyful, civil show of how our constitutional rights will prevail.
We are Awake Illinois and they can't cancel us.
