Parents may file an Illinois Human Rights complaint for discrimination based on 745 ILCS 70/5. Send the district and principal an email outlining their discrimination and denial of access to a public facility and ask if they intend to continue these unlawful actions.
Request a response for the complaint.
Send the same email to the board of education daily and provide the tally of days since the original action. Remind them how they are taking these unlawful discriminatory actions against the student.
