Illinois voters are steadily awakening to the atrocity known as "Amendment 1" that will be the FIRST question on your ballot November 8th. Perhaps someone knocked on your door to share information or you're seeing yard signs posted.

Why?

Your Amendment 1 "NO" answer is arguably THE most important ink mark you will make on the ballot. It is an unprecedented attempt to amend the IL Constitution that will increase taxes and give unbridled union power effectively overriding the IL legislative body. Awake IL advocacy is focused on preserving your constitutional rights and protections. This ballot question aims to limit them under the veil of "workers rights". Wait until you calculate the tax increases you'll face.

Awake IL endorses a "NO" to Amendment 1.

Joe Bowen was flown into Illinois specifically to push for Amendment 1, which is the WORST attempt to amend the Illinois constitution and further cripple citizens with unsustainable tax increases.

Listen to his hypocrisy on a webinar held by union-supporters this week when he complains about a private citizen making contributions to defeat Pritzker and Amendment 1:

"Billionaires shouldn't just be able to drop a million dollars and lie to people. And that's what we're dealing with here."

Really, Joe? Liar, liar pants on fire JB Pritzker is doling out MILLIONS to democrats who are failing Illinois children, women, families, businesses and tax payers.

We see where blind loyalty to Pritzker by the democrats and teacher unions got us. Never again.
