Last night, Ryan Cunningham with Speak For Students and Awake Illinois President Shannon Adcock discussed the latest IEA petition to join the Illinois parents' lawsuit. By joining, the IEA union groups are asking the court to add them as defendants so they may support the Governor and state agencies on the forced masking of students and the denial of due process regarding quarantine, etc. It is expected that the IFT will also petition. As discussed last night, a call to action is ready for parents/taxpayers to FOIA your districts ASAP. See template below.

Add the pertinent district information, your info., and signature. You can take a clear photo of the request with a smartphone (vs scanning) and attach it to email submitted to the district FOIA officer. If you have a parent/advocacy/social media group that is organized in your community, designate ONE PERSON to submit this FOIA. No need for dozens of people to send the same FOIA request.
