After sending our public records requests and video links to a Daily Caller reporter, the above article was published and Lurie Children's Hospital made the videos private. If you know anyone who donates to Lurie Children's Hospital and/or Northwestern School of Medicine, please educate them on where their donations may be going and ask if they support the sterilization and sexualization of children. After this April 10th blog post, we shared the invoice below proving that the gender and sexuality agenda is indeed infiltrating public education with your tax dollars. Our organization and members submitted several Freedom of Information Act requests (see upcoming workshop to learn more about how to submit public records requests) to uncover the truth about Lurie's Children's Hospital and schools.
The following invoice came from Palatine District 15, which is the 2nd largest elementary district in Illinois. Numerous teachers across the state (most teaching health classes) have contacted us with their concerns over having to teach any child that they may be born into the wrong body and/or teach radical sex activism in the classroom. We completely understand and believe that parents AND educators should partner on educating the community and district leadership on the concerns. All parents should be aware of their current opt out rights. Also, we encourage districts to make ANY sexual education OPT IN, vs. opt out.
As Illinois continues to double and triple down on this worrisome agenda, Awake IL will always support children's innocence and parental rights. Parents: please use these forms for the upcoming school year (follow the directions; send certified mail, do email follow up and in person meeting with Principal) as many schools are preparing to aggressively implement radical sexual education in K-12 classrooms.

Listen to atheist Richard Dawkins Richard explain (around minute 14:00) that as a biologist who studies evolution, he can say with confidence that when it comes to gender "There are two sexes and that's all there is to it". Richard also suggests that people such as JK Rowling have been bullied on social media for standing up for their opinion which he claims is damaging to society by not having the wider debate on the issue.
Sound familiar? How many times has Awake IL been harassed/defamed and had our events threatened? The left attempts to hold veto power over society because they are incapable of debate. We're Awake, however, and cannot be canceled.
Your donations are greatly appreciated in helping us offset administrative costs such as the website and our new office location. Currently, all of our leadership is volunteer-based and they take no income from the organization.
