Well, long story short: Illinois is riddled with "blue state demons". Who knew the days of headlines solely about exorbitant taxes and cook county crime would be the "good 'ole days"?

Who are the "Blue State Demons"?
Jay Robert Pritzker is one such demon. He favors special interests, not Illinoisans.
Stacey Abrams is one. She is the chairwoman of Center for American Progress.
Center for American Progress (CAP) is rampant with them:
In 2015, CAP released a partial list of its donors, which included 28 anonymous donors accounting for at least $5 million in contributions. Named donors included the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates, which each gave between $500,000 and $999,999. CAP's top donors include Walmart and Citigroup, each of which have given between $100,000 and $499,000.[55][56] Other large CAP donors include Goldman Sachs, Bank of America, Google, Time Warner, and Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America.[40][57]
Listen to Joey Gilbert, Nevada Gubernatorial candidate and a chief strategist for America's Frontline Doctors on the Stew Peters show (which YouTube already removed minutes after Awake IL posted it citing "medical information"; FASCISTS). He is right when he says where you live has never mattered more and references the "Blue State Demons".

Sadly, our locally elected school boards that take an oath to serve in trust for the community are also drinking the blue state demon kool-aid. Sure, some superintendents are groveling to the state demons by literally asking for Jay Robert, Carmen, and Ngozi to tell them what to do with our children and our tax dollars regarding masking, distancing, health, etc.
Apparently Covid-19 has afflicted parents and local school boards with a condition that makes independent thought and courage entirely obsolete. Who knew?

The co-op among O'Fallon and nearby districts with their insurance is a common theme throughout IL. Per Chicago-based legal firm Franczek, the following holds true for school districts:
What isn't recognized is the concept of informed consent and waivers that were utilized by businesses and institutions across America during peak covid. Life did go on outside of IL and continues to in prudent fashion. So much of this comes down to money.
Your money is paying inept and scared policy-makers who won't say "boo" to Jay Robert, Carmen, Ngozi, or the teacher unions.
Your money is paying the insurance policies that stipulates it will only protect districts that follow the guidance of the blue state demons.
Your money is funding the districts that are led by locally elected school boards who are basically obsolete given their fear of liability. The lacking enrollment in public schools has forced Jay to allow districts to honor previous year enrollment numbers to access needs-based funding with SB0813. Funding that isn't there-he is literally funding this with DEBT.
So, to recap on why this all matters:
It matters because Pritzker is in bed with the Center for American Progress, which has a vested interest in lockdowns and generally oppressive policies.
He takes his marching orders and gives them to IDPH and ISBE.
IDPH and ISBE give their marching orders to local school districts and county health departments.
County health departments , regional superintendents of education, and local school boards gave the orders that had our kids marching into schools (after a failed year of remote learning) spaced 6 feet apart, masked, and quarantined without symptoms.
Elected county and city officials were silent with few exceptions. Now that certain politicians are greasing their wheels to campaign, they are finally talking about masking, lockdowns, critical race theory, and more. Gee, thanks?
Meanwhile many of us parents have been speaking out and spending time and money babysitting Illinois policy-makers. After weeks of no response received after Awake IL President remarks to ISBE, another e-mail was sent today. Section Chief of Communicable Diseases at IDPH Judy Kauerauf ("little vectors") and Jesse Ruiz, Deputy Governor of IL have on auto-reply as they are out of the office.
It's not like all of Illinois is in limbo over what the coming school year will look like for IL children; or anything of that sort.
You're AWAKE now, aren't you? Free your mind and take the red pill. Being informed may just save Illinois. Remember all of this in 2022 and 2023 when you go to vote...that is, if you are still in Illinois.
